We in St. Kevin's thought it would be a great idea to have an active week where all the classes would participate in a variety of fun activities to improve our fitness levels and to promote active living.
The whole school walked, and some even jogged, around the pitch each morning! We held a competition (score on the door) to see which class were the most active in coming to and from school. Every class won a trophy for their excellent effort ! First class were crowned "most active class"! We had a fantastic football tournament where lots of medals and trophies were won! Junior Infants won a special award for participating in yoga! Senior Infants danced away everyday on the active site Gonoodle.com!
Here are some of the photos of us getting our rewards! Well done to everyone, we loved being active!
