Our school is a greenschool

In May we received our first Green Flag. Here we have our Green Schools Committee proudly showing it off during assembly.

In St. Kevin's we are working towards receiving our first green flag. We are looking at the area of Litter and Waste. In order to achieve this flag we need to reduce waste in the school and increase our recycling. We encourage the children to use the green bins in each classroom, to make sure to put their rubbish in the bin and to keep our school and grounds clean and tidy. The children have been working very hard over the last year in this area.

Each class has a 'Green Bin' for recycling card and paper.
