Our September Aistear theme was 'School'. We did a lot of fun activities based on school including role-play, play dough, construction, sand and we even did a walking tour of our school. We also did junk art for the first time and we loved it! Here are some pictures of us during our Aistear activities.
Creating Our Self-Portraits
We have been talking about how we are all different and that's what makes us special. We talked about how we all have different coloured hair and eyes and we all like different things. We made beautiful self-portraits using crayons, wool, crepe paper, sequins and PVA glue. We had a lot of fun creating our self-portraits and they are all different, just like us!
Funky Fingers Stations
We are working on building the strength in our fingers so that they grow nice and strong. We did our funky fingers stations today. We spent five minutes doing each activity. The stations were threading, making cube towers, connects, peg boards and links. Each activity helped us to make our fingers grow strong!

Playdough fun in Junior Infants
We love playing with playdough in our class. It is fun and helps our fingers grow strong. We even did a playdough disco using a fun song from You Tube.
We drew lovely pictures of ourselves
We love doing our morning activities in Junior Infants!
